Power steering hose question

I just got a new P/S box yesterday and see that it is an O ring style box. I am presently using the flare end style. My question is: What can I do to my hoses to make this thing work? Can I put some O rings down inside the hole and still use my flare fittings? Is there a hose that will work that has an O ring on one end and a flare fitting for the P/S pump side? Any help is welcome.I really need this certain box to work for me. Thanks, Ricky...seeya...

Re: Power steering hose question

Get a o-ring fitting from another pump at the junkyard

Even the best equiptment is worthless, if you don't know how to use it.

Re: Power steering hose question

I use my flare fittings with o rings. It wouldn't stop leaking. I slapped in the o rings and not a drop since.

Re: Power steering hose question

I had the same problem. I took an Oring hose about foot long and had carquest clamp a brake line fitting on the other end. Did it to other end too, So I have box,hose,1/2 brake line, hose, pump. The brake line screws on with 1/2 unions, or change the pump to oring fitting. I had to go this route because no body make stock hoses for power steering on 46 willys
