What kind of Scout?

Today, I found a scout in someones yard that looked a lot like an old style bronco. No one answered the door, but I was hesitant to rummage around it to see the details(dont like getting shot at). It'd been sitting for a long time, but was in good shape(little rust,no dents). The strange thing was that it had 4 lug nuts on the rear wheels. I thought they all would be 5 lug. Anyone ever heard of a 4 lug scout rear? I'll try and go back in a few days to see if they want to sell it- if anyones interested. I dont need any new projects...

Re: What kind of Scout?

I had an old scout before my jeep. I wouldn't recommend them for rebuilds. They are rust buckets! It's also hard to find parts. A jeep is much better suited for a rebuild IMHO.

They can kill you but they can't eat you!
