Replacing Body Mounts

I am in the process of replacing the tub on my 82 cj-7 and I found that the bolts that were "holding" the tub were so rusted that they broke while I was taking them off. Now my question is what are the size of these bolts and also if the body mounts kits come with the bolts or just the mounts.
tks for your help.

Re: Replacing Body Mounts

The kit i just got did not come with new bolts or the spacers that go inside the mount. I had to make a couple of the spacers. I am sure some kits come with everything. I would just start calling around and asking. Good luck

Re: Replacing Body Mounts

Some kits have, some don't. I used 3/8's dia. coarse thread x whatever length you need in all except the radiator which I think was the next size larger. They are all the same length. 4WD Hardware has the OEM style donuts.

Re: Replacing Body Mounts

I made them two different ways. One way was turn a hunk of steel down in the lathe. The other was just a washer on top and a piece of 3/4 emt pipe (which is what electricians use) in the middle of the washers. Good luck.
