need info on jeep trailer

Just got an old willys jeep trailer. I've been trying to find some info on it to no avail. Does anyone know where to find this info, for instance, part numbers for wheel bearings, brake components, and so forth. I'm assuming that most these items are compatible with the early flatfender jeeps, can anyone clarify? If not, does anyone know of a good source for parts, or a maintenance manual? Thanks.

Re: need info on jeep trailer

Can't help you on your trailer specifics, but all bearings are stamped with an ID number on the side of the races. This number will convert to something currently available. Check with your local parts house for a match.

Re: need info on jeep trailer

I would check with Beachwood Canvas (Beachwoodcanvas.com) they have a lot of hard to find willys stuff, especially military. I am not that familiar with the trailers, but I would bet a lot of the bearings will interchange with one of the axles on an MB. Willysoverland.com might have a maintenance manual. They bought out a bunch of old willy's stuff. Sometimes if they don't have a part, they have original blueprints that a part can be made from.
