Someone with MT\\R\'s Report!

someone out there has gotta be running the new MT/R's how are they? and have u even run BFG MT's and how do they compare?? thanks i'm having such a hard time picking out a mud tire that i can use for the street, i have BFG ATs but don't think they'll cut it this summer, i need all the traction i can get thanks guys, sorry about the million stupid tire questions!

I have 35" MT/R's on my YJ and so far I like them. If you are doing daily driving then you can beat them. They are wearing well, just clocked 8k on them and did my first rotation. In the mud, they grip less than my old swampers did, but still pretty good. They grab the road and rocks well, due to the rubber compound. They use alot of silica in the rubber which helps it grab, but wears well. On the street, they are the quietest mud tire I have ever heard. Very tough sidewall as well.

For a daily driver or rockcrawler you can't go wrong. When I retire my Jeep from daily driving in less than a year(hooray), I will be be going with swampers again(b/c of the mud around here). Really good tire though.
