It finally made it out of the garage!!!f

Well it did it. I installed the new q-jet, and it fired right up. It was still a little loud (running open headers)well after wrenching on the beast all winter, (tr upgrade, front 44, t-18a, twin stick d20, revolver shackles, power brakes) I backed it out of the garage on it's own power. Of course the clutch needs adjustment, and the power brakes don't actually brake, it did make it out of the garage. Now I have to get the exhaust done on thursday, and figure out why the hell my brakes don't work good. Ah well, just a few more little hurdles before "IT'S GOOD ENOUGH"

Well actually it's right back in the garage. Just took it out to actually clean last years mud off it and to see if it would actually move. I already adjusted the clutch, and that seems to be working good so far. At least I can disengage my tranny now.

Keith-
Here are some tips I learned from Van, the power brake man (Vanco).....

Master Cylinder Bleeding
1. Get a helper to jump in the Jeep and work the petal.
2. Back off the brake lines on the master cylinder one turn (both of them).
3. Have your helper push the brake pedal to the floor.
4. Tighten both brake lines and have the helper release the brake.
Repeat 2-4 until the fluid streams out of both ports without "sputtering".
