pilot bearing/bushing

I have an 89 comanche with the 242. Trying to put my tranny back in and cannot find the pilot bearing. All the parts places try to sell me a bearing where to id is fine, but the od is way to small for cranck. The one i took out looks to have a bearing pushed into a bushing, and the bushing fits the cranck. Any thoughts? Dennis

Re: pilot bearing/bushing

Take your old bushing to the parts store and let them come up with the right one.

Good Luck!
