TBI TO MPI SWAP

alrighty fuel injection guys out there, i'm gota question which i need answered asap, i've got an 89 wrangler 2.5L TBI and a 94 wrangler 2.5L MPI motors, the 89 has the motor in it, and the 94 is sitting next to it in my garage without the wiring, if i wanted to swap the intake to the 89 and use the MPI, do i just need to buy the wiring harness and computer from the 94 and hook everyting up or am i missing somehitng, basicly i just want the MPI on the 89 instead of having the TBI, thanks for any help!

I believe your right.. just swap everything over and get the wiring harness for it.

Muddynut is correct, however check the PSI needs. The fuel injection PSI may be a little different... best know now.

You will probably need a larger pump for the mpi. I've been doing some researching on chevy tbi and tpi (tuned port) and the tpi's need more psi or a large pump capable of more psi's. I'm not really sure on the jeep fuel injections though.
On a side note I bought a 95 wrangler tank that came of a 4.0 mpi. If you would need it I would meet you half way and swap for your 88 tank. I'm in mid michigan. ken
