Another Lift Question

I have a 3.5 superlift that I am getting ready to put on my 87YJ and I bought Daystar Greasable shackles that give 1.25 of lift , I finally got them and they are huge. I dont know if I want to put them on and tweak out my new springs, I am thinking of returning them and get the 1/2" lift shackles instead. Also are greasable shackles the better shackle or does it not matter. Thanks for the help.

Re: Another Lift Question

I know I`ll get flamed up the (_!_) for this but (especially older CJ`s) Jeeps wander enough already without adding extended shackles . Buy a set of H.D stock length shackles and do your lifting with the springs . 4WDH sells a real skookum set that retain the factory length .
Just MHO
