Anyone have a spare CJ7 body to sell?

Well . . .
Went to the badlands in Indiana, and crunched my CJ7 body. The engine and frame, axles, etc are ok. I'm going to need a tub, passenger fender, and windshield frame before it's all over. Thanks for any replies,

Might be a good oppurtunity to look at getting a solid Wrangler tub ( not so much rust) . I dont think it`s a hugh headache to do the swap .Ask around

Yea. I think I have one just sitting around.. It is a good idea to maybe look for a YJ tub though?

Is it tough to do the YJ body swap? I didn't know they were interchangable.
Anyone have any info on this?

How bad did you crunch it? I might be interested in taking it off your hands if you find a new one...

Chris already posted the link to my page for ya'. You're out in Davenport, Iowa accorind to your profile...the yard I got my tub from is out that way. There's also another yard not far from the Badlands that gets *lots* of Wranglers. Did you roll or just get friendly with some trees on one of Troy's infamous tight -n- twisty trails?

Re: Anyone have a spare CJ7 body to sell?

Well, I feel kind of stupid for this. Here's how it happened . . .
We were on top of a hill, and coming down a banked curve. It was a little too much angle, and the Jeep went over on the Driver's side, and at about a 45 angle, the top was touching the far side. So my brother and I hopped out to see if we could right it. We didn't think we could do it, but all it took was just a little push, and the Jeep went on all fours again. Only, it started rolling down the hill, and there was nothing we could do to stop it. I had it in gear and everything, but there it went . . .
To make it brief, at the bottom, in slow motion, it stopped and flopped over on its side.
I might be able to bondo up the body tub, but the main thing is fixing the windshield frame and putting a new window in my hard top. Wish I had a digital camara, and I could put some photos up here. Oh well. That YJ tub swap sounds worth checking into - what's a good price to pay? Anyone have any yards to suggest looking at?
Thanks for all the help and sympathy...

Ooooowwweeeeeeee! That had to suck thinking you were "righting" the Jeep just to see it tumble down a hill!
I've heard lots of good things about the YJ tub swap. It was going to be too many "little" things for me to mess with so I went with a 'glass body (turns out there are more "little" things with that)
