1. If you don't go SMPI you'll send the rest of your Jeepin' days a wishin' you had.
2. Recycle a wrecked 4.0L engine with SMPI on it, often for less cost than the HESCO Upgrade.
3. After you do the SMPI swap, take the money you've saved on:
c. Tow bills.
d. Carb spray to detect vacuum leaks.
e. Starting fluid for cold days.
f. Manual chokes.
g. Cables for the manual chokes.
h. Cable lube for the manual choke.
i. Air cleaners goobered up from the PVC.
j. Icky valve cover sealant.
k. Lots of oil to feed the icky valve cover leak.
l. Lawyer bills for sepnding too much money on the Jeep.
k. Divorce papers.
So in conclusion you're only logical recourse is to go with fuel injection.
