Re: Pics of CJ2A

That's about what my '56 CJ-5 looked like when I first towed it home... A few months later of grinding and sanding, it's finally primered and ready for some paint...Bret

Re: Pics of CJ2A

That thing is beautiful man. What are your plans? I will have to see if I can get some of my pictures condensed so they will fit in a post. Mine is in a thousand pieces right now. There is a great looking CJ2 on the Off-road.com website. Check out my disc brake question, and it has a link to the site. This guy has a real clean looking Jeep. I hope mine will look that good sometime. I will try to attach a picture of it in its current condition.

Re: Pics of CJ2A

I think my next flattie will be a mail order Jeep. I want a flattie rock crawler, like the 14-Day Flattie that 4Wheel and off road did. I figure I won't build it to be street legal at all. It amazes me that you can order every single piece of a Jeep except for a VIN number, and I know it would be a huge pain in the ass to build a Jeep this way, but I think it would be really cool. I may even look into what it takes to get a VIN for it. For now I had better get the CJ2, and the current CJ5 done. Here is a picture of the 5 like it sits, (behind my Dad's shop in Idaho). Don't laugh, it is a work in progress. I have axles for it, they are just on a pallet next to it. My wife says I only get one Jeep at the house at a time, unless I get a Jeep for a daily driver, Hmmmm.
