Warn Hub Conversion

If I put the Warn front hub kit on my 30, would that get rid of the vaccum actuator? If anyone has the kit installed, how has it held up and performed? Thanks

Re: Warn Hub Conversion

The Warn hub kit does not eliminate the vacuum actuator. It does eliminate the need for the actuator and you can swap out your 2-piece inner axle shaft for a Cherokee inner shaft. A buddy of mine used the kit on his TJ until he swapped axles, and he wheeled the WEE out of it with no problems. I'm talking many many trips through the hammers. Not as strong as the internally splined hubs, but that requires you to go 5 on 5-1/2. Probably at least as strong as CJ hubs though.
