Re: waggie 44 uncut

I'm sending you a writeup of how I did mine. A few others on this BBS also have writeups on theirs. Very simple and cheap.

Re: waggie 44 uncut

If you could send me a write up as well I would really appreciate it. I'm doing the full width thing right now too.
Thanks!

Gee, I would, but since you never filled out your profile, it's kinda hard with no E-mail address.

Re: waggie 44 uncut

HEck of a job ricochet!

I wish I had incorporated that front angle into my design I like that, Mine had some 1/2 plate welded to each front frame rail from a previous home made bumper so I left that and used it, but I like the idea of the added crossmember

Re: waggie 44 uncut

Thanks alot for the compliments. I like it alot. By doing that, it moved my front axle 3" forward giving me a little better wheel base.

Re: waggie 44 uncut

Hey Keith, do you have any clearance problems with the pitman arm and the draglink/tierod. I would think that moving the axle forward would make the draglink hit the tierod. Just curious how yours works.

Re: waggie 44 uncut

It actually has about a 1/4" clearance. I was told that the wagoneer pitman arm is shorter, so if I have any problems I will try that. I don't think I will have a problem though.
