Dont ask me to add it up, I have just started my recent CJ5 project in July 2000 and I have every recent for purchases and they fill an entire folder in my file cabinet(ouch,) But the countless hours banging knuckles is what I treasure, because that cost me nothing..................

Re: who has spent the most since this time last year??

lets see $10800 for the 95 YJ that I totaled 4 days after my liscinse. Then $lets see $12995 + Taxes for my 97 TJ but really it only cost about $500 + the taxes on that to get the TJ because of insurance. Then I spent $200 on some 30" ko's that were on the totaled YJ, then $200 on the tomken rear bumper, then about $100 on mis. stuff so that's a little under $14000 unless you include the YJ in that, then it would be about $24000

Re: who has spent the most since this time last year??

I don't keep track, I keep all reciepts, I have them for 18 yrs. back (on this jeep), but I'd never add them up, I don't want to know.
I try to forget as soon as I get my change. : )

If it comes with instructions, then it's not what the pros use.

Re: who has spent the most since this time last year??

Wow! You guys spend a lot of $ on your Jeeps. Since I did the 401 engine swap February of last year, I really can't add that in . So I guess there was the $20 driveshaft repair in Moab, a radiator, fan clutch, and fan that got destroyed during a mud bog, $300. Onboard air cost me $125. I really didn't break anything this year, so my backyard engineering must not be to bad. Not bad for less than $450. Since my engine swap was so close to your deadline I will add that in $1700, and that includes the new radiator that got destroyed in the mud bog. Grand total for last year spent on my Jeep, $2150. Not to bad. Since I have owned my Jeep I have put around $8000 into it, that is over a period of 5 years.
