Saw him out at the Chili Challenge 2001.
He'd roll up in his tow rig w/AC blastin' and his Rock rig in tow close behind.
Didn't get to run w/him, did the same trails just on different days.
Bet he had a full crew of CJDaves moonguys tucked away just in case he broke hehe
No gettin' greasy for this guy.

Betcha ole Walker has paid his dues and then some. Guys don't get to his level with out being a Serious BADASS. May not get as greasy as he used to - but - I am thinking he knows how to hold a wrench.

I'm wondering when Ironman Stewart is gonna start rockin.
It'll be impossible to compete in that class, big power, no weight lots of cash

Re: Walker Evans...scareDcat ?

I met the guy a couple of years ago in Crandin WI. You say he must be a bad-ass, well your 50% right, he is an ass. After one heat he came barrling through the pits and almost ran a small boy over. If it wasn't for the kids dad almost ripping the boys arm off getting him out of the way he would of been toast. After pulling into his pit, Walker wouldn't even talk to the kid or his dad, he just stood there 10 feet away ignoring the two and everyone else.(He lost the race) To much $$$$$$$$$ I gess.
I use to like the guy.

Re: Walker Evans...scareDcat ?

Never met him - If thats the way it is - he is - It is a shame. People should never forget where they came from. I have met some Very top of the heap type people that were as humble as a church mouse. Makes your respect grow when that attitude is shown-IMHO
