water in pulse air tubes

Was wondering if anybody else has seen this before. I just finished installing a weber carb in my YJ and when I went to remove the pulse air system I found the tube going to the cat. converter had about 1/2 pint of water in it. I know that couldn't have been good for the old carb, but would it have done anything to the cat. Anyways, the whole system is gone now so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

Re: water in pulse air tubes

Cats generate some water in their chemical process. Sounds like something was stopped up!
