Picture of my Jeep

OK - Here goes nothing...

Well, it looks like it worked! Here is a picture of my Jeep from this Saturday. I'm almost done - just need to finish the exhaust and a few other small things and that's it. I just finished re-doing the tub and putting in new seats, beefing up the roll-cage, and adding the diamond plate. I'll try to post some pictures of the cage details. Hope you like it! - Chuck

Very nice. Did you use enough starplate reinforcement? LOL Looks like one tuff Jeep.

Re: Picture of my Jeep

Raduckal - Thanks! I always called it Diamondplate, but the Starplate as you call it is to keep the tub from looking like the hood - again. I had the 1/8" aluminum corners and rockers and they were wrinkled like tinfoil at Tellico last Spring - and they were some of the thicker 1/8" ones I'd seen. This 1/8" steel with the fat diamonds is unreal - it also has a 1" lip along the whole bottom including the wheelwells and around the back corners.

Wayne - Thanks! The seats are from a '94 Mazda MX-6 - I highly recommend them , but it was TOTALLY custom and alot of work to get them in there - even on the factory mounts (those are on the cage) it is nowhere near a bolt-on... But worth the effort in the end. I thought they were perfect for that hole in the headrest for the harness. I'll try to remember to measure them tonight.

Muddynut - Thanks!, and it does. :-)

Okay, now >that's< a sweet Jeep (vehicle)!

I wish we could get away with bead-locks in California. They won't let them on the highway!

Good job, Chuck!

Sycho15 - they were red and they're just really faded - I've had them on there for about 4 years and they were used when I got them...
