Homemade D-300 Twin Stick?

Seems like I read a post here a while back on making a twin stick with a second stock shift lever. I've got the lever, now I need a little info. Thanks in advance

Re: Homemade D-300 Twin Stick?

I made one for mine but ended up not using the 2 shifters I had. They were bent too much to do what I wanted to do. I wanted mine to come out of the tranny cover without cutting up the floor. I made some straight shifters and bent some 3/8" stainless rod for the linkage untill I got the shifters to come out where I wanted them. I had to make a new cover (stainless) because I upgraded from the T-150 & M20 to a Ford T-18 and clocked Dana 300. Turned out pretty good.

I can send you a write-up with some diagrams if you like. I clocked my D300 so I had to cut the bend out of the shifters and weld them back together. Let me know if you want to check them out.
