Re: I need TJ front flares

Are you sure that is right? Maybe they quoted you a special flare like the painted one. I can get the part numbers off the boxes if someone wants to check again.

I not kidding. $44.95 each. Same price front and rear.

Re: I need TJ front flares

Well, looks like I will need those #'s. If you could get them for me I would appreciate it.

Re: I need TJ front flares

Thanks. I'll check double check prices tomorrow, and post the results in this thread then.

Oh yeah, what year model did you reference? Or does it matter?

Re: I need TJ front flares

I just asked for a set of flares for a TJ. No year was specified.

Re: I need TJ front flares

Bad news, good news. It will probably be a couple weeks now before i buy the new flares. I had bought my friends cj this weekend when his wife made him give my money back. So that's why i was going to buy new flares, among other things. I talked to a guy tonight about another cj, a 79 with a 304, and i'm going to look at it tomorrow night. If i buy it, it might be a couple more week before i can afford the new flares too. Sorry to get you excited, but i will still give them to you when i buy new ones if ya need them.

Re: I need TJ front flares

$60 each, that is $240 for a set. I think that I will have to find some used. You can buy a set of extended ones cheaper than that.

Re: I need TJ front flares

Maybe try other dealers. Why would my dealer sell them $15 cheaper?

Re: I need TJ front flares

you could get the two rears from me and buy two front from the dealer, that would save $120. i decided not to buy the cj, for now, so i ordered the flares today. i'll be ready next week.

Re: I need TJ front flares

That sounds good to me. Let me know when. I'll order the fronts tomorrow. I thought for sure that they would have to sell the whole set of four when I said that I wouldn't need them.

Thanks.

So what was up with the CJ? Too rusty?

I found an old Willy's truck in a farmer's back yard earlier this week. I am going with some cash and a flatbed on Sat. and see if I can take it off his hands. Should be a good project for after the YJ has its engine done. I know better than to say when I am done with the YJ. I'll post some pics if I get it.
