Currie twin stick/D-300 Question

Hi all, I installed (I think) my Currie twin stick today on my Dana 300. The install pic wasn't very clear, and the instructions said basicly "Bolt it on and adjust as necessary".
My question is, with the single bolt holding the mounting bracket to the t-case...how do you keep it from moving up/down when you pull/push the levers? Do I just need to tighten it more? Sorry for the lame question, but I figured I'd get a quicker response here than from Currie.
Thanks!

Re: Currie twin stick/D-300 Question

I made my own twin stick shifter and it mounts the same way. Yes, Just tighten the heck out of it. I drilled mine out a bit and used washers and a big lock nut. So far, so good.

Re: Currie twin stick/D-300 Question

Thanks guys, thats what I figured. That single bolt attachment just seems more like a "pivot" than a solid mounting point.
