radical driveshaft angle!

after completeing the RE 4.5" lift today i can't see how the SYE and CV shaft will be the answer but i am told it will work. i inserted the 2.5* shims they included but they are wimpy- dion't even see what good they could do. they are thin little wafers and i don't see the pumpkin looking up any better. if you can read my sketch, this is what i have. the 4" part @ the transcase will be eliminated w/ the SYE.then there will be an opening for a 22" shaft. even if i lowered the transcase w/ the 1" pucks RE sent i don't see how you could drive it at all! i don't want to use the pucks which would defeat the lifts purpose. i will call tom wood in utah and see what they think. i am an amature at this but am learning quickly! any advise or similar scenarios out there?
thanks,steve
