brakes line extensions?

Hey all,

Quick question, I was wondering if i needed brake line extensions for a 4 inch suspension lift...the tech ppl said no, but I trust the input of ppl who have actually lifted the vehicle and know from experience more than a tech desk helper..

thanks all

Re: brakes line extensions?

First off your brake lines are probably as old and the jeep so it is time for them to go away anyway. And yes you need them unless you want to use them a limiting straps.

Re: brakes line extensions?

Ditto. You will need either longer brake lines or to relocate the hard line to a lower location. NAPA can cross-reference the fitting sizes and there is usually a stock line that can be used as opposed to the high dollar stainless type. There are also some places that will make a line while you wait.
