warn mount

I mounted a warn HS9500i in the front of my 01 tj with the stock bumper with the warn tj plate and it hits in to the grill.

Is this something I should be concerned with.

Re: warn mount

What's hitting the grill? The winch or mounting plate? Either way it shouldn't affect the safeness of the winch set-up (I would make sure there aren't gaps between either the mount to frame, or mount to winch). Over time, you will wear the paint off where it is rubbing. If it starts to rust where the paint was, it will just look more classic (like a CJ with a rusted grill).

Sounds like you need to go get stuck to try it out.
