Help on axle welding

Anyone out there know of a place i can take my Jeep to have the SOA flipped back to stock height? This rig is to be my daily driver, and the SOA was done wrong/half assed. I think it would be cheaper and easier to drop it back down. I live in Naperville/Aurora Illinois, if anyone has a clue where I can go to...

Thanks for any help

Re: Help on axle welding

since it's half assed they probley did'nt take the old spring perches off. Just unbolt it and move it above the axel. That's probley all it will take. Of course you will have to unbolt the drive shafts and check for correct placement of the brake lines. If they did remove them you might need to look at getting new or used axel's. Try it your self there's nothing more rewarding than fixing it yourself.

How about contacting FarmJeep on this BBS. Farms-with-Jeep often does outside project work.....especially welding.....for extra revenue. His e-mail is [email protected] Dean can be found in the Naperville area, farming during the growing season, and driving a MACK 18-wheeler.
