Jeep and Taxes...

I was wondering if i can put down on my tax return that my jeep is my dependant. Do you think they will care? I have named him, and he does require constant attention and monetary support.

Re: Jeep and Taxes...

I tried to convince the town my farm is a Jeep Farm for a tax break. They didn't buy it. I thought I made a good argument, they sit in the pasture all day long, don't eat much grass, don't contribute to greenhouse gasses, and occasionally like to go out for a romp. They are tempermental, like to wallow in the mud, and are sluggish to get moving when it's cold. I can't understand why they didn't go for it, they cost more than cows do. I think it's discrimination.

Re: Jeep and Taxes...

I think under these circumstances that you use the vin number instead of the social security number.
