360 engine

I am looking to put a 360 in my CJ7 and want to put a spring over suspension in as well. I don't know if I should convert to YJ springs or some heavy duty type of springs in order to support the weight of the engine. I want to run 35's on my jeep can some give me some suggestions. Also I have a chrysler 999 auto tranny if I upgrade this will it hold out with the 360, or should I go to something else.

Re: 360 engine

Can't answer the spring question. As far as the tranny goes it will hold up OK. A TF727 would be much better IMHO. I think they offered the 999 behind V8 CJs the last few years they had V8s but I could be wrong.
