Questions about TR upgrade and EGR valve
I am hoping to have a day off sometime in the near future, so I bought all the TR upgrade stuff. Do I need to change the sparkplug gap, or keep it stock? Also, is the TFI coil supposed to have an exposed square metal thing around it? It looks for all the world like a transformer.
Second question. My EGR valve hasn't worked in four years thanks to a friend's "knowledge" who disconnected the vacuum and did nothing else. I think that the valve must be leaking or something, so I figure I'll either replace or plate over. Any advantages or either? If I reinstall the entire vacuume system, and the EGR valve, do I need to install anything else? I currently don't have ANY EPA stuff on my 304.
