General Grabber M/T, how good are they?

Anybody is using these have some feedback? I'm wondering how they compare to BFG M/T or Pro Comp M/T in 33".

Re: General Grabber M/T, how good are they?

I have never used them on a Jeep but I have used them on my truck and I was pleased with them, They performed well and I got alot of maileage out of them. I considered them rather soft and was impressed with the miles I got out of them, unfortunately since I don't take my truck up rocks or through serious musd I can't give you a real great evaluation. They are priced right and I would consider them for my Jeep.

Re: General Grabber M/T, how good are they?

I'm running a set of them right now and I like them a lot. I had the BFGs before and I like these every bit as well. The best part is the price. The 35" BFGs were going to be over $700 and I bought these tires for right at $500. Lifetime balance and rotation at Sam's. Hard to pass up that deal!

Does anybody know the construction of these tires? Plies, sidewalls, etc. ?

Re: General Grabber M/T, how good are they?

I was talking to another jeeper at a gas station that was runnning a set of 33" Grabbers MT's.
He said that they performed well, but the sidewalls were weak. He has had two of them replaced since he bought them (he got road hazard so they were free). I believe that they are 2 ply sidewalls.
