Does this look normal

Do these headers look normal where it would bolt to the head, are they normally two peices like that?

I've heard of cutting headers like that when you have a problem with them heating up and warping, not seating right and leaking. It relieves the stress, but I don't think there are enough mounting bolt locations to seal right. Maybe??

yep! i had a set of dual headers on my 258 and they are 2 piece. i also had a set of single output and it was one piece. they are normal. they come that way.

Yeah man, a lot of headers come that way. It is normal.
