Re: I finally did it!

Good thing that dirt hill was on the other side of my jeep or I would have gone further. I would have been upset if I busted my hard top ....

Look at the bright side, it gives you a chance to take a good picture of the underside of your Jeep

Re: I finally did it!

When I was building my cage I told my mother that I will end up using it at one point or another. She didn't want to hear about it. Everybody in the club knows me well enough to know that I have been waiting to roll my jeep sooner or later.

I can only compare this to me winching out a dead hummer last year...

When I went home last night and printed two of these pictures out and showed them to my mother she didn't have much to say. Not sure If realized what happened or she is just going to wait until the next time I go out and she's going to give me a hard time.

It went over slow, no harm to me or the jeep.. (ah, who cares about the jeep...)

I know that it will happen again, I am really getting into this climbing stuff. Around here I am finding more and more "washouts". I will be getting a set of 5point harnesses like I planned when I built the cage..
