Seeking info on NP540 trannys

I have read just a little on these trannys and can't seem to find any specs on this series. From what I read they are sort of a predecessor to the NV4500s and they have a granny low and overdrive 5th. That all I know, any more would be very helpful.

Re: Seeking info on NP540 trannys

I think that is what I heard about a little while ago... a 7.5:1 first and a 1:1 5th if I recall. The guy I was talking to mumbled a bit so I'm not positive about the tranny's name.
