Surprise Canyon/Mojave settlement on line

OK, here it is, all 19 pages of the stipulated settlement between the BLM and Center for Biological Diversity, with various off-road groups as intervenors. It is my opinion that this is TOTAL BS, how the heck can this be done as a settlement when the public hearings on it made it clear that this couldn't be done. Something is VERY wrong here. Read it and make your own opinion as to why it was agreed to close 75% of the trails in that part of CA. YES...75%! .

Re: Surprise Canyon/Mojave settlement on line

I havn't been active enough in this, but to keep our public lands open to use we all have to get involved. I havn't read this yet, but should have time Sunday evening. We all need to get involved, even if this plan dosen't effect us. United we stand, Divided we fall. Get involved.

Re: Surprise Canyon/Mojave settlement on line

The link that I posted is the actual Court settlement document. Just go to Adobe's website and download Adobe Acrobat Reader, then you will be able to view it.
