The factory manual says to use Champions.

I'm with muddynut. Use the Champion platinums. I could actually feel a difference when I switched to these.

Re: Whats the best plug 4 my CJ-7?

It's just my opinion but I can't stand champion plugs. (sorry guys)
I've had the best luck with plain old Autolights. My plug always looks good and they last along time. (hey, their cheap too )
Always keep in mind that a good plug won't fix a carburation or ignition problem.

There is always a bad apple.. just kidding.. but dirt dog.. these two plugs are almost completely identical? I'm sure either one will do fine for your application

Even if they were almost the same (there not) in my neck of the woods the platnum chumpians are 2 to 3 times as much. I'm a cheap ba$tard.
Bad apple? Who me?
If I was going to spend a few mure bucks on plugs I'd buy NGK(I think) hot U plugs.
They kick.
Let the great sparkplug debate continue.

Re: Whats the best plug 4 my CJ-7?

Champion has got there act together in the past few years, but I have really become an NGK fan. The only plug I sell that has not got any negative feedback. I use NGK in all of my vehicles. I sell Champion, Autolite, AC, and NGK. I sell more NGK's than all other plugs combined.

Thanks, Ray
