Update on Tomken Coil Conversion

Hey Everybody,
Answered my own post and question today. Spoke with a Tomken sales rep and the Cj7 coil conversion is $2,600 plus about $170 in shipping (to GA). It will only work for widetrac Cj's and really is "bolt on". Pretty steep for my budget, but I'm still curious whether anyone has any experience with this product. I appreciate any comments.

Re: Update on Tomken Coil Conversion

I wonder if it has the same problem as the Pro-Comp YJ one, that is will only work with the stock D30 and M20?

Re: Update on Tomken Coil Conversion

I called Tomken today and they told me $2800. maybe this included shipping?

I also asked if this would fit on a set of currie 9" or d44's. The answer is no. At least not for a while. The rep said they would be working on it, but to not expect to see anything for at least 3 months.

Re: Update on Tomken Coil Conversion

I guess I just dont get all the hoopla about the conversions to the round boingers. I must have seen a dozen of the Warn XCL kits installed on YJs when I was in Reno. Everyone was just so excited about them, and at a cost of about $5000 installed.
Crrrazy!
