re-gearing

Can anyone point me in the right direction. I'm about to install new gears and lockers in my model 20 and 30. From stock 2.7 to 4.10 with detroits, allready got the parts. Problem is I've also got the factory jeep cj manual and it seems to over complicate the installation. I'm in search of the proper way. Is there a web site,or tech article that spells it out? Or can someone scan their install booklet from a Randy's " complete" install kit ( wish I'd bought my parts from 'em )for me. Any help will be welcome.

Re: re-gearing

That's not a job that MOST backyard mechanics will tackle. The gear set-up requires precise work and, if not done correctly, can GREATLY shorten the life of the gears. This is one job you probably need a shop for.
Good luck.
