Dumb question...ebrake cable??

I'm getting down to the last of cleaning out the tub before it comes off. Pedals and heating unit, then it's off!!

Anyway, how the hell do you get the ebrake cable off the pedal assembly?? Yes it was late and the last thing I was going to "accomplish" before I left the cold garage so maybe I was missing something, but next step is cut-off wheel!

Thanks!

Re: Dumb question...ebrake cable??

I think there is a "C" shaped clip that smushes(technical) over the flanged end of the cable housing. You have to spread the tangs of this clip to remove it. The lead ball on the end of the cable should just slip out of the groove. You also can just disconnect the cable from the frame and yank the whole mess through the firewall.

Do like Jimmy says. Just disconnect it from the frame were it attaches to the two wheel cables. It's easier
