Fickle weather in frosty Farmington (pics)

I've was working on the CJ last Sunday in T-shirt weather.
The YJ hardtop is on the driveway in front of it, drying off after a good scrubbing inside and out in preparation for repair and painting.
Windshield on, YES. Tailgate on, YES. Unpainted harddoors on, YES!
Hood, Not yet .....
That evening I glassed in a bunch of drill holes from previous over head CB.
Trying to get ready for winter fun ....

The next day ....

... winter's here!
(view of Chokecherry Canyon from my deck)
I love my Christmas camera!

It's a Kodak DC3400 with zoom.
I really like it.
Takes pics in 3 resolutions.
These were the in the middle (medium) file size.
It does a pretty good job, even on these two low light captures.

Looks like you have a nice view. Do you sit up on a hill?

I cant wait to take an extended vacation through New Mexico. I want to visit some of those old Spanish missions and a few of the pueblos. I know one day I'll live in New Mexico, a little adobe house and a couple of Jeeps... heaven!

CJ is looking good... I checked out the latest pics on your webapge the other day. nice!

Regards,
LarryM

Hey Jaffer, don't you just love NM? There's a lot I love about that state, but I'm happy where I'm at now in CO. Last year in February in Albuquerque the weather was great, had the jeep topless.

Jaffer & LarryM - have either of you come up with the names of a couple of places for Moab yet? Let me know what everyone's thoughts are on trying to stay in or near the same place.

Larry, Chama, NM simply put, beautiful!!

Re: Fickle weather in frosty Farmington (pics)

I used to live in Albuquerque/Rio Rancho for fifteen years and ouside of the four wheeling I really didn't like Alb. for a city of it's size there just isn't much going on, no pro sports they even lost the Dukes farm team. Traffic was terrible, and to build a brige over the Rio Grande which is a joke of a river it takes them twenty years and by the time they do its compromised down to a two lane bridge. Crime is absolutely out of hand for a city of it's size the economy sucks so bad that I still own a house there that I can't sell.
