problems after TR upgrade

i just did the TR upgrade to my 258. but now engine won't idle. i adjusted timing to where it was before upgrade. i adjusted the carb to run a little richer, but that didn't help either. it idled great before. any suggestions?

thanks all

Re: problems after TR upgrade

Is the problem just with the idle? Have you checked the idle tubes in the carb? this article will help explain what I'm talking about.

I used to have idle problems regularly after trail runs; I drilled out the tubes as described and haven't had a problem since.
