RE lift and Nutter bypass

I'm wondering what lift is best for my 88 YJ? I use this rig as my daily driver about 30 miles round trip to school.
I would like to put on 33 inch tires. Is the RE 4.5 extreme duty kit good. How is it on the road? I found a guy who will sell me one for 721.00 is this a good price does anyone know of a better price or a good place to purchase form. Also I'm doing the Nutter bypass and am I correct that it reads I disconnect the vacumm line to the ditributer? What do you do with it if this is true? Please Help!!

Thanks,
Viper

Re: RE lift and Nutter bypass

It rides very good on the road. Will clear 33" tires. For the money it is well worth the money. This kit has everything needed to make it work correctly. Opt for the RS9000 shocks. That is a good price. Does it include shipping? If it does, then it is a great price.

Get ready to buy a Slip Yolk Eliminatior(SYE). Tom Woods is one stop for this kit. He has either the cheapest(weakest) or the more expensive(stronger than the original output shaft) versions. JB Conversions also makes a good one.

If you are going to spend any time on the road make sure to get some good riding 33" tires(radials preferred). Look into BFG(MT or AT), Goodyear Wrangler MT/R, SuperSwamper SSR, they all have better highway manners than any bias ply tire will.

The Nutter bypass help will have to come from someone else.

Re: RE lift and Nutter bypass

Where is a good place to get a RE lift for a better price? What other lifts are good and good for the money?
Also where can I get a SYE for a good price?

Thanks,
