4.0L head and F.I. on 4.2 block...ideas on CPS???

looking for ideas on how to install the CPS on a 4.2L w/T-176. i would rather put it in the bellhousing. how did you guys do it? any hints, ideas, or recommendations would be great! matt

I assume you are refferring to the computer module. You just need to remember to test fit the wiring harness before you mount it. I mounted mine outboard of the brake MC. It is high, well protected, and easy to get at if needed.

I saw somewhere that Advance Adapters makes a replacement bellhousing. Some people have drilled the original housing for the OEM sensor but it is a critical location. In both of these situations you will need a flywheel from a 4.0L. On my swap I bought the damper and sensor used in the MOPAR efi kit from HESCO.

The AA Bellhousing has a CPS mounting holes in it or you can get the MOPAR MPI style CPS from HESCO to work with the 4.0L FI.
