Wrangler Rollbar for CJ-7

I am wanting to mount a rollbar from a newer Wrangler
(92 or later). Has anyone done this? What if any areas may pose problems. Does anyone know where I can get one? As always, any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Andrew

Both bolts on the rear feet line up, only 3 of 4 bolts line up on the front feet. You can get a rollbar from a junkyard, another Jeeper, or a dealer. One of my YJ friends wanted to trade me his '95 roll bar for a CJ-7 bar just for looks, so maybe you could find someone like this.

Re: Wrangler Rollbar for CJ-7

also remember the front sport bars connecting to the windshield. Best way to do it, make a full cage you of it instead of hooking them to the windshield. I'm really not to familar with the swap, but it is something i've looked into, and i THINK (not sure) that your CJ hardtop won't work with the sport bars attached...just a few more things to think about
