Place to buy parts?

Where's the best place to by CJ parts? I just ordered a heater core from my local NAPA...$61.89. 4 WD Hardware has them for for $39.00 plus shipping. Are they any different?

Re: Place to buy parts?

4WD Hardware has always had excellent service, great prices, good quality parts, and are very fast.

Napa has good parts, can get almost anything (as long as the idiot behind the counter can find it in the books), and good quality. prices are high

Discount auto parts (autozone, pep boys, etc.) are good at 8:45pm on saturday nights. check the quality! prices are usually good.

another mail order place i use is National Auto Lines. the are local to me, but ship all over the world. you can call them at 1-800-428-4300 and request a catalog. if its not in the catalog, call and ask. they found me a cherokee front bumper for $45 and a 3row modine radiator for $150!

hope this helps! matt

You're not UPGRADING the heater core to the Blazer one? What, you don't like heat?

Re: Place to buy parts?

The heater core doesn't change in the upgrade. Just the blower motor.

Re: Place to buy parts?

I figured that much, guys. NAPA and 4wd Hardware priced out the same heater core (as far as I know. Both are for a '79 CJ).
