Kids Luv Wheelin Too!!

I took my daughters to the Hammers for the weekend, and they had a great time. It ahs taken a few years for my 6 year old to come around, but she actually wants to ride up the steep now, especialy in the front seat. She actually got a little upset when I had her get out for a dangerouse spot. The 10 year old is starting to really understand line choice and wheel placement, and wanted to have a chance to ride in other rigs to see how they differed on steep climbs. Here are a few pics of the little ones wheelin at the Hammers.

Re: Kids Luv Wheelin Too!!

The key is getting them in the Jeep at a VERY early age. My kids were both wheeling when they were just a few weeks old, they are now 10 and 12. They have seen things, done things, and been places very few kids have had the opportunity to do. Keep em wheeling! BTW, they always get out and walk while rock crawling, if we rolled I don't want an arm or worse to get stuck out. My 12 year old loves to spot, then have me end up in a pickle and have him standing there shrugging his shoulders!

I hope to have my YJ built up by the time I have kids. They'll be driving it by the time their feet can reach the pedals. Very cool. It's great that they enjoy something that their dad does. I couldn't tell you how to raise kids, but from the looks of it you are doing a fine job.

Re: Kids Luv Wheelin Too!!

I think it's a bit late for my 10 year old girl, she's a momma's girl. My two year old is moving right on line. A few weeks ago, when the great Pumpkin was in my yard, she was underneath it with a couple of wrenches "working". Sure makes a daddy proud when his little girl is turning the wrenches.

Re: Kids Luv Wheelin Too!!

I wish I was brough up wheeling, dad can't even check the oil. Well the parents are growing to like it, they have both went with me, they are "supporting me". They are kinda likeing it, the dad only drove once for a little bit and kinda liked it. Also dad's strart your daughters out early, this world needs lots more jeep chick, let her build her own jeep.
