Which CJ-->YJ shackle hangers?

I've got the shackles, now I need the hangers and then springs. Which hangers should I get to use YJ springs on a CJ? Preferrably bolt-on, since I don't have a welder.

And why are these little buggers $90 a pair? All it is is a little piece of rolled steel with some supports welded on.

well.. you can get your hands on some rear cj hangers.. they would work.. i got some from a junkyard.. and used them in my yj spring shackle reversal.. but i also welded them.. was easier..

Re: Which CJ-->YJ shackle hangers?

I used the ones from JKS on mine. They're investment cast from 4130 chrome-moly. $90 for rolled and welded is a definite rip, though I think most of the stuff that we buy is grossly over-priced for what it is. But, that's what happens when you have to help offset someone else's rent, utilities, insurance, wages, etc...

Hey, I think Boston Mangler has a pair of unused MORE ones for sale.
I'm sure he will chime in.
