4x4 withdrawl
 
2 of my wheeling buddies sold their damn jeeps so now i need a winch so i can go by myself. my np231 hasnt been touched in 2 months and both detroits are getting used to sitting around and doin nothing but rusting in their carriers. i need to know if you can get winch solenoids wet and dirty or if the shuold be kept under the hood and dry i have to get a winch by 02-29-00 (long story) or im screwed on the prices but i cant decide if i should get a m8000 x8000i or rep 8000. ive never had a winch and dont know alot about em except i need one
any ideas????????????

I'd check into www.hotrod-offroad.com the have a great price on a Warm winch, I can't remember which one right now. It is under Specials. Good Luck,
