NEED X-FER CASE in FL

Hey everbody out there well i finally blew my transfer case out but i made it to FL. So i have a 1987 wrangler and need a NP231 transfercase unless someone is selling an Atlas case, tell me what ya got I am staying right outside of sarasota so whats in the area(good junkyards, 4x4shops, etc.)

Hey there- I'm just above ya in Bradenton and there is a place called Florida 4x4 here in town. He's got like 3 NP-231s...but he's such a rip-off that I can only begin to guess what he'd try to charge for them [img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif[/img] If you can find a NP-208 it will still bolt in, but have a fixed-yoke rear output and much stronger parts (came in '80s Jeep trucks)

will my driveshaft and everything bolt rightup? is that the same case that some chevys came with? isn't it a full time case?

The 208 is a fixed rear output, so your old driveshaft won't bolt up, you'd need a longer slip-yoke driveshaft with fixed yokes on each end. It is a part-time case and yes, some Chevys did come with it, but those used a slip-yoke (which might work with your current driveshaft...)
