4.0 HO In an 84 cj-7

I found a rolled 95 wrangler recently that only had 55k on the odometer. If I get the the engine and wiring harness what else do I need to change over for this swap. I have a T-4 (not sure if this will work with it) and a dana 300. I would like to get the auto tranny out of it also but I want to keep my dana 300. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Check out my web site: http://jeepskate.4x4.org

I have a scanned in magazine article that covers the swap and some info and pics from when I did my original swap (drivetrain is waiting to go into my project Scrambler now). The auto trans will bolt right up to your Dana 300 no problem...it's basically just an updated version of the same auto (T-999) that was used in '80-'86 CJ-7's. I just got my MORE Bombproof motor mounts last night, so I'll be dropping mine into the Scrambler very shortly.
