This BBS is dead!

Man, what happened? I run 50 posts per page on the main page, and the 50th thread is 2 days ago! Man, it's the OT stuff that used to get us through "lull's" like this, I kinda miss them.

So anyone get anything good for Christmas? I scored a new multitester, some 23 ton weld-on D-rings, welding magnets, air octopus (for airing up/down 2 tires at once), camping gear, and some cool books. Anyone else?

Got some Jeep clothes, 2 t-shirts and a hat. Also got a new computer, but that's cheating, I needed a tax write-off real bad!

Re: This BBS is dead!

I got a Springfield scope and mount for my M1A. I should be good out to 750 yds with that bad boy. Taking it out to a 1km range this weekend, see if I can still reach out and touch stuff.

Santa didn't bring me any Jeep stuff, guess he couldn't fit that 8 point roll cage in the bag. Oh well. Jeepchick got me (us) a weekend at the Grand Canyon. That should be cool, I've been in AZ for almost 3 years and haven't gone and looked at that yet.

As long as we are going OT, I am looking at getting a little welder, I think that there was a long thread on that a while ago, with a lot of good talk about a Handler 135. That would be big enough to box a frame, weld up a roll cage and mount points, stuff like that isn't it. Anybody have one that wants to share how they like it.

And remember, don't drink and drive; you might hit a bump and spill.

(OK, well the np435 is in the garage next to the Jeep)

Re: This BBS is dead!

MORE steering box brace for the CJ-7
MORE Bombproof motor mounts for the Scrambler
S-truck rear springs to correct the front suspension on the Scrambler
And I should have a used 8274 with mount in my hands tomorrow...almost had it today but didn't have time to go pick it up on my lunch break.
Almost got a divorce...haven't decided if that's good or bad yet

Re: This BBS is dead!

Well, Santa brought me a whole bunch of Craftsman tools, revolver shackles, money for fuel injection, 60" high lift jack, and misc. do dads. It looks like I have been a VERY good boy this year. Woo Hoo
