Will this Rochester Q-jet fit on 304

I picked up a Rochester Qjet and a rebuild kit for 20 bucks. It came off of late 60's Chevy pickup with a V8. (not sure what size) I've got a 304 with the Edlebrock performer intake. Will this Carb work and what do i need to make it work with the 304? Adapter plates? New linkage?

If this doesn't work does anyone know if the Edlbrock Qjets will fit? They don't list any AMC applications.

Merry Christmas
Jeff

Is the carb a q-jet for sure or a 4 jet?
Either way you will have to try it.
Most aftermarket intakes are set up for holley, but a few are for spreadbore or a dual pattern. The linkage I'm sure you'll have to do some modifying.
Good luck.

Re: Will this Rochester Q-jet fit on 304

Thanks guys. I haven't seen it yet. The guy I'm getting it from said it was a quadrajet. I have the dual plane 4bbl performer intake from edlebrock if that makes any difference.

Jeepgod....where can I find the right adapter. I've seen a 1" quadrajet spacer in the Summit catalog but no adapters.

your local auto parts joint should have a few of them.. they are about 14 bucks.. just get the right one.. they are basically a multi adapter.. you'll need the spread bore one.. i cant think of the part number off hand.. i have tons of them just collecting dust here..
